AI service specialist company ESTsoft (CEO Jung Sang-won) announced on the 11th that they created AI caster Illumi to promote the Korea Expressway Corporation Traffic Center.  

The Korea Expressway Corporation Traffic Center started providing traffic information through radio broadcasts at the meeting plaza rest area in 1983, and now it is in charge of providing real-time traffic information not only on TV and radio but also on smartphones and navigation by managing traffic 24 hours a day. 

This project started as the excellence of ESTsoft's AI human's natural speech and movement, and multilingual speech function was recognized by the Korea Expressway Corporation. In particular, the decision was greatly influenced by the judgment that introducing AI humans can increase efficiency in promoting the excellence of the traffic center at home and abroad.

Currently, AI caster Illumi created by both companies is being used in videos to promote the traffic center. As Illumi speaks in multiple languages, she has been deployed in promotional videos produced not only in Korean but also in English, Spanish, and Russian. 

As the collaboration between both companies has been successfully concluded, ESTsoft's efforts to enter the public sector with AI human services are gaining momentum. Recently, they also opened a smart community center in Gimhae City, followed by a contract with the National Information Society Agency for the provision of AI announcers. 

In the future, ESTsoft plans to expand public projects based on the operating know-how of AI human services secured in the public sector. The policy is to actively utilize not only existing AI human services but also conversational AI kiosks that help process civil complaints or assist in senior care in the public domain for development and enhancement.
