ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in AI services, announced on the 15th that 'AI Park Eun-bo' has been chosen to host the '2023 AEO Companies Day' event run jointly by the Korea Customs Service and the Korea AEO Association. 'AI Park Eun-bo' is an AI human that reproduces the real announcer Park Eun-bo exactly, and ESTsoft holds the IP (intellectual property).
The event takes place today, the 15th, at the Korea Federation of SMEs, with some 400 attendees including Korea Customs Service officials and major import and export businesses. It was created by the Korea Customs Service to support Authorized Economic Operators (AEO).
In the two-part event, AI Park Eun-bo hosts part one, the 'AEO Companies Day Declaration', delivering the opening ceremony guidance and event explanation and introducing the congratulatory video and remarks. Both sides expect ESTsoft's high-quality AI human to deepen the audience's engagement.
ESTsoft's AI humans drew strong interest from government ministries, local governments and public institutions in November, when they demonstrated public service handling at the Government Expo. The company went on to prove its technology by winning an Excellence Award at the '1st Artificial Intelligence Trustworthiness and Quality Awards' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
ESTsoft has recently been accelerating its expansion into the public sector, preparing AI human-based services with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Gimhae City.
Byun Kye-pung, Director of ESTsoft's AI Business Division, said: "Because this Korea Customs Service project uses Park Eun-bo, an AI human we own, it will be a good example of synergy between IP and AI human technology," adding, "With interest in adopting AI humans rising among government bodies and local governments too, we plan to put effort into expanding beyond the private sector into public institutions."
