Working together to create positive change and innovation in senior care worldwide

ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in AI services, announced on the 7th that it has signed an industry-academia agreement with Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Laboratory to strengthen and expand its AI human-based senior care services.

Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Laboratory (https://lifetimesports.kr/) is a research group that studies the social and individual factors behind sport and leisure activity across all generations, and uses that work to provide theory and practical programs for social problems arising from aging and generational conflict. It is also involved in training some 600 instructors a year in collaboration with the Senior Sports Instructor Training Institute.

Professor Huh Jin-moo, who heads the laboratory, is a senior care specialist working from a lifetime sports foundation. In the United States he served on the organizing committee of the Senior Olympic Games and taught at Texas A&M and Indiana University. In Korea he is Director of Yonsei University's Senior Sports Instructor Training Institute and an executive of the Asian Pickleball Federation, and remains academically active, publishing research papers continuously.

The signing ceremony was held at ESTsoft's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, attended by key figures from both sides including ESTsoft division head Byun Kye-pung and Professor Huh Jin-moo of Yonsei University's Department of Sport Industry Studies.

At the ceremony, both sides agreed to pursue their collaboration actively, with the goal of delivering a better quality of life for seniors and creating positive change and innovation in senior care worldwide.

Both sides expect strong synergy between ESTsoft's AI human technology, already proven across industries including education, finance and entertainment, and the research record and practical experience in senior care held by Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Laboratory.

ESTsoft will now work with Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Laboratory on ▲creating AI humans specialized in senior care, ▲planning and producing specialized senior care content using AI humans, ▲delivering and optimizing AI human content in senior care settings, and ▲expanding the use of AI humans in senior care globally.

Professor Huh Jin-moo of Yonsei University said: "This collaboration will be a major turning point for existing research and the development of practical programs in senior care," adding, "Through new approaches using AI humans we will present more varied research and more effective programs, and bring AI humans into lifetime sports such as pickleball."

Byun Kye-pung, head of ESTsoft's AI Business Division, said: "By working with Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Laboratory we will strengthen the credibility of our AI human senior care services and build them into a brand," adding, "We want to focus on producing real, measurable results from our AI technology, and to create social value through a content business that older adults genuinely need."
