Both sides have high expectations for the synergy between a star lecturer's IP and content and AI human technology

ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in artificial intelligence services, announced on the 18th that it has signed a joint business agreement with star lecturer Choi Tae-sung to produce an AI human and create and distribute history content.

Choi Tae-sung is a star lecturer who teaches Korean history on EBS and the YouTube channels Choi Tae-sung 1TV and 2TV, with a cumulative six million students. He has recently appeared on a range of history and travel programs, leading efforts to popularize Korean history.

The signing ceremony was held at ESTsoft's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, attended by key figures from both sides including ESTsoft CEO Chung Sang-won, AI Business Division Director Byun Kye-pung and lecturer Choi Tae-sung.

At the ceremony both sides expressed high expectations for the synergy between Choi Tae-sung's IP (intellectual property) and content and ESTsoft's AI human technology. With interest in Korean culture rising worldwide, they judged that a multilingual AI human could meet that demand quickly by introducing Korean history easily and rapidly.

The AI human Choi Tae-sung that ESTsoft will produce will speak 75 languages across around 110 countries. Microsoft's Text to Speech (TTS) technology, optimized for the company's AI human technology, generates languages across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia — and reproduces in fine detail the different pronunciation and intonation a single language takes in different countries.

Choi Tae-sung's own appeal is reproduced intact. Because the AI human is built from high-quality data captured in ESTsoft's 'AI Studio Perso', constructed to world-class specifications, it supports 8K, the highest resolution currently available, and works in three-dimensional compositions including left and right profiles as well as front view. The AI human can therefore appear on a range of devices and on large stages.

Both sides plan to pursue a range of businesses once AI human Choi Tae-sung is produced. Starting with ▲Korean history content production and ▲content uploads to the Choi Tae-sung 1TV and 2TV YouTube channels, they will expand into ▲history lecture Q&As, ▲AI history docents in museums and exhibition halls and ▲multilingual history tours run with local governments — extending from their own ventures into regional and national projects.

Lecturer Choi Tae-sung said: "We agreed to pursue a joint business with ESTsoft in order to provide richer information and a better learning environment for people interested in our country's history," adding, "I want to use AI humans to actively introduce Korean history so that people around the world can access and understand it easily."

ESTsoft CEO Chung Sang-won said: "We were able to sign this agreement because we shared the view that AI humans can help introduce Korean culture and history to the world," adding, "With ESTsoft's unrivaled AI human technology we will maximize lecturer Choi Tae-sung's reach and make our joint business a success."
