ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in AI services, announced on the 29th that it has received the Minister of Employment and Labor's Commendation in the job creation support category at the '2022 Government Awards for Merit in Job Creation', organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The 'Government Awards for Merit in Job Creation' identify and honor companies, institutions, organizations and individuals that have created quality jobs or played a leading role in employment stability.
In the individual category, Park Jae-seon, Head of ESTsoft's People Office (HR and general affairs), received the award.
ESTsoft was recognized for ▲converting non-permanent workers to permanent roles and improving unfair treatment, ▲putting work-life balance into practice, ▲creating job opportunities for young people, women, people with disabilities and older workers, and ▲practicing labor-management cooperation and shared growth.
Through this work ESTsoft reduced the proportion of non-permanent workers by 5 percentage points and established competency-based hiring, including open recruitment from specialized high schools and the active use of job and practical tests. It also substantially improved the working environment, converting its headquarters into shared office space suited to smart working.
ESTsoft's Park Jae-seon said: "ESTsoft is constantly trying new things to provide a working environment where every employee can maximize their potential," adding, "2023 will be the year we realize the various HR systems now under consideration, for a greater social contribution."
