ESTsecurity (CEO Jung Jin-il), an endpoint security specialist, announced on the 19th that it has been selected as a supplier for the 'ICT SME Information Protection Consulting and Security Solution Support Program', hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and administered by the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
The program aims to provide consulting-based security solutions to 600 small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide that hold ICT infrastructure of a certain scale, helping them build their own information protection systems and lay the investment foundation for doing so.
Under the program ESTsecurity provides a total of nine security solutions, including the integrated antivirus 'ALYac'.
ALYac, the flagship among them, has been in service for more than ten years; combining proven know-how with the expertise of the analysts at its Security Response Center (ESRC), who work at the front line of information security, it scans for and treats malware that has penetrated a company powerfully.
The document centralization solution 'Secure Disk' prevents data being leaked or lost to ransomware and the like. Built on filtering, kernel and server development know-how honed through ALYac and other products, Secure Disk secures both security and stability and helps manage documents efficiently through a central server.
The other solutions provided are 'ALYac Server', 'ALYac Linux', 'ALYac EDR', 'ALYac Patch Management', 'ALYac My PC Keeper', 'ASM' and 'Internet Disk'.
An ESTsecurity representative said: "As ESTsecurity holds security solutions and know-how at the highest level in Korea, we will do our utmost through this support program to help many SMEs exposed to cybersecurity threats build a safer working environment."
Applications for the 'ICT SME Information Protection Support Program' opened on the 2nd of this month and close on a first-come, first-served basis. Details of how to apply are available on KISA's regional information protection center website.
