ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in AI services, announced on the 16th that it took part in the 'Boom-Up Korea Export Consultation Fair, First Half 2024' to promote the strengths of its AI human services at home and abroad and strengthen its overseas business.
Held to support small and medium-sized companies expanding overseas, Boom-Up Korea is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and co-organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). It is the largest offline export consultation event in Korea, with 3,000 Korean companies and 500 overseas buyers across eight sectors including consumer goods, materials, parts and equipment, services and ICT.
ESTsoft, which has brought its AI human services to the global market, attended at KOTRA's invitation. The event ran over two days, the 15th and 16th, at COEX in Samseong-dong.
Having made this year its first year of global expansion, ESTsoft attended to explore opportunities with major overseas buyers as it focuses on scaling its overseas business.
The ESTsoft booth was located in the ICT hall. It introduced the core technology and key services behind AI humans and gave visitors the chance to try a conversational AI human, through an AI kiosk.
On the 15th, the opening day, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Duk-geun and Minister of SMEs and Startups Oh Young-ju visited the ESTsoft booth and spent time talking with an AI human. The demonstration was guided by Byun Kye-pung, Executive Director of ESTsoft's AI Business Division.
During the demonstration, asked about 'Korea's export outlook this year' and 'recent trends in the AI market', ESTsoft's AI human answered in real time with a clear account of export categories, forecasts and the main issues in the AI market, to the surprise of those present.
ESTsoft's AI human demonstrations and meetings with overseas buyers ran successfully throughout the event amid strong visitor interest. Byun Kye-pung, Executive Director of ESTsoft's AI Business Division, said: "The '2024 Boom-Up Korea Export Consultation Fair' will help a great deal in expanding overseas sales channels for globally competitive AI human services," adding, "We will do our utmost to turn the opportunities found during the event into real results."
