ESTsoft (CEO Chung Sang-won), a company specializing in artificial intelligence services, announced on the 10th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with edtech company Ubion (CEO Lim Jae-hwan) on AI-based education software technology cooperation and strengthening their competitiveness in the education industry.
Ubion, which operates the learning experience platform 'COURSEMOS', has long experience and deep know-how in education, and has recently been reinventing itself as a leading AIED (AI in Education) company through innovative AI-powered learning solutions. The signing ceremony was held on the 24th at ESTsoft's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, attended by key figures from both companies including ESTsoft CEO Chung Sang-won and Director Park Jae-seon, and Ubion CEO Lim Jae-hwan and Executive Director Oh Byung-joo.
The agreement centers on ▲developing education software products through AI technology cooperation ▲improving educational content with AI technology and ▲identifying future education business opportunities. In other words, the two companies will combine ESTsoft's AI technology with Ubion's education expertise to secure AI education services that deliver strong learning outcomes and strengthen their market position, continuously creating new market opportunities for growth.
At the ceremony, representatives of both companies agreed to identify innovative AI-based ideas together that will accelerate digital transformation in the education industry, and to begin collaborating in earnest on building competitive services and bringing them to the education market. To that end the two companies will move quickly to establish a cooperation framework for combining their capabilities, including joint research and development using AI technology and exchanges of personnel. This also gives momentum to the education industry push for ESTsoft's AI human service perso.ai. ESTsoft has recently been strengthening its business building AI education platforms for universities, and successfully delivered the 'Hallym AI Education Solution' proof-of-concept (PoC) demo with Hallym University.
